Depending on the length of your ringtone you will get different options if the sample is less than 30 seconds long then Ringtone studio will automatically converts the whole file into and iphone ringtone and places it neatly in your Itunes ringtone collection. If the sample is longer than 30 seconds then you get the option to clip out which ever 30 second section you wnat, again once selected the ringtones will be placed in Itunes, hopefully in a later version you will be able to clip longer and shorter lengths but as limitations go it wont casuse you too many issues.
